Colors! Please!
Help! I have a sudden craving/need/yen for strange and bizarre color words!
All I can think of are puce, chartreuse and periwinkle. This is insufficient, I need truly obscure words. (note: not for any real purpose. just a random thought/spark of an idea... it will involve Ikku)

Crayola has a bleck crayon named Outer Space, there are a lot of weird colors at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Crayola_crayon_colors
I have also found synonyms of black include sable, jet, and soot.

Ooh, those lists shall be mutch the helpful. I should probably crack out my prismacolors as well, and see what they have to contribute (hell, I should crack them out and USE them one of these days).
Wonderful massive lists aside: more, people! There are never going to be enough, I need more!

Periwinkle is a fun color to say especially because it's the name of a mollusk.
Wisteria is also a fun color to say.

Burnt Umber
Ochre
Burnt Carmine
Vermillion
Ultramarine
Also, perhaps the wierd black color you're looking for is "Ivory." Derwent makes a pencil called "Ivory Black" so that's what I'm basing this off of.
