Looking for a movie

Sometime ago I came across this film on IMDb

Rosolino Paternò: Soldato... (1970)
Also Known As:
Operation Snafu
Situation Normal, All Fouled Up
Situation Normal: A.F.U.

Stars Peter Falk, Jason Robards, Martin Landau, many Italian actors. Directed by Nanni Loy. It's said to be on video in the US, but I can't find it. Any ideas?

Ben

Re: Looking for a movie

Hi Ben,

I think there has been a video on sale in the USA with the title OPERATION SNAFU, but it's a different film.

The British Service comedy "On the Fiddle" with Alfred Lynch and Sean Connery - as a gypsey!!! was repackaged as OPERATION SNAFU to make it sound like a Bond film after Sean's success in Doctor No.

So the film you are talking about with Peter Falk may well not have had a video release.

So what I'm saying I guess isn't much use - sorry.

Paul
