Somewhat off topic, but I need feedback *and* help

I am considering embarking on a rather large-scale undertaking over this coming summer. I would like to restore THE BATTLE OF NERETVA to its original length, in the original languages with English subtitles and with the original music score.

Would anyone be interested in seeing this when / if I complete it?

Would anyone be willing to assist me?

I have 5 prints of this film at this time:

1. The North American Home Video from NTA, running 106 minutes

2. A DVD-R of the British Home Video, running 122 minutes

3. A DVD-R of the Danish Home Video, running 127 minutes, and subtitled in Danish.

4. A VHS copy of the German Home Video, running about 145 minutes, and dubbed in German without the benefit of subtitles.

5. A DVD-R of the Bosnian Home Video (or is it a DVD?) running about 142 minutes. This is in Serbo-Croat, Italian and German. The Italian and German scenes are subtitled in Serbo-Croat.

What I am looking for are any other copies of this movie on DVD-R or copied to NTSC that I can work from - particularly a widescreen print. I can put my existing copies on a hard drive and do the subtitling and editing on a computer. I just wish I had a widescreen, whole print to work with so I can avoid editing from 3 major sources (the Croat, German and British seem to be the optimal choices)

Any ideas?

That is some project Sgt, I do remember seeing this film in the video stores in the 80's. Quite an undertaking indeed, what is it about this film that has your attention. Keep us posted on how you are doing, does the American film institute have a wide screen copy of the film? Will ask my sources if they know of a widescreen print.
Good Luck on your project!
