Ryde Theatre
and what the hell's going on there?
are we going to lose it?
are they going to revert it back to council chambers?
are we going to have yet another leisure centre and one less music venue?
its a wicked web that has been weaved and i think the council should give us some answers - when/if the venue goes, we'll be left with one major music venue - Ventnor Winter Gardens - one venue for an island full of musos!!!!!!!!
why is medina theatre bringing down a queen tribute band when you can't even dance let alone move in the theatre - the seats are great for all those who are 5'7" and under, but incredibly uncomfortable for anyone else - an hour and a half cramped - not being able to move...the skin of your knees being rubbed off onto your jeans cos you're almost sitting on top of the person in front - and if you dare to get up and dance, an elderly 'usher' comes down and tells you off like you're a five year old!
is this a joke?

Has there been any indication that they might take it back? I know there were plans years and years back to put the library in there.
Its been doing well as a venue hasn't it? Always pretty full whenever I've been there.
