Now remind me, who was saying last week that this game was unlikely to go ahead due to Greggy Lane's cup commitments? 
We're now going to Longridge, one of my old stomping grounds! Applause for making the re-arrangement, and that is meant.
We need to be aware of the rescheduling that needs to be done in the Sunday competition. It's the same every year! You have to be pro-active to get the games in. This is why they set the deadline by which time fixtures need to be played to qualify for the play-offs. It's not hard and fast like the Saturdays. Pretty much the only reason you can't re-arrange is if you can't raise a side and have no other commitments as a club on that day.
If you think there's a possibility that the opposition won't be able to make a fixture coz they have others on the same day, then ask them early in the week to give chance to re-arrange another fixture. Don't just wait for the opposition not to show up, or ring on a Friday night (which has happened to other teams this season). If our organisation is better than theirs, then so be it.
Don't forget I see an awful lot more of the bigger picture on this and am only trying to help.
Oh DP don't curse me when you read Dave Lever's response tomorrow!

Pete, your experience in these situations is much appreciated and I can see your point now. It is alot easier to get another fixture sorted if we know early enough.
